CEB demands PUCSL endorsement to force planned power cuts for four days




The Ceylon Power Board (CEB) has mentioned the Public Utilities Commission of Sri Lanka (PUCSL) for consent to force power cuts for two hours and 20 minutes for four days, comprehensive of today (03 Feb.).


In like manner, a solicitation was made to force planned power cuts of two hours and a short way from today till Monday (06 Feb.).


The CEB's solicitation comes in the scenery of a settlement came to among a few gatherings including the CEB, PUCSL, the Ceylon Oil Company (CPC), and the Service of Force and Energy with the Basic liberties Commission of Sri Lanka (HRCSL) that no power cuts will be forced during the continuous 2022 GCE Progressed Level assessment, which started on 23 January and will be held until 17 February.
