Individual personal duty prone to come in to drive from Nov 1

The recently gazetted individual personal duty will be carried out from November 1, after the endorsement by the Money Advisory group of the Parliament and the mark of the Speaker.

Serve Ranjith Siyambalapitiya expressed this while talking at a question and answer session in Ruwanwella. Prior, a newspaper warning was given correcting the Inland Income Act.

As needs are, any person with a gross month-to-month income of Rs. 100,000 or above, would be obligated to settle the Annual Assessment. The top negligible individual annual duty rate is gazetted as 36%.
