Cabinet endorses changing tax rates for roof sunlight powered chargers

The endorsement of the Bureau of Pastors was allowed to amend levy rates for roof sunlight based chargers, Priest of Force and Energy Kanchana Wijesekera says.

Likewise, the ongoing two-level duty pace of Rs. 22.00 and Rs. 15.50 will be overhauled to a level pace of Rs. 37.00 for housetop sunlight based chargers delivering under 500 kilowatts.

In the interim, Rs. 34.50 will be charged for housetop sun powered chargers producing in excess of 500 kilowatts, Priest Wijesekera expressed further in a tweet.

Duty rates will be compelling for a considerable length of time and will be changed every year founded on an estimating recipe, he added.
