Proclamation from IMF on current SL circumstance

Worldwide Monetary Fund says it is intently observing the continuous improvements in Sri Lanka and expects a goal of the ongoing circumstance which will consider resumption of the exchange on an IMF-upheld program.

"We are profoundly worried about the effect of the continuous financial emergency on individuals, especially poor people and weak gatherings, and reaffirm our obligation to help Sri Lanka at this troublesome time, by the IMF's strategies," IMF said.

IMF adds that it will proceed with specialized conversations with its partners at the Ministry of Finance and Central Bank of Sri Lanka.
