For public sector employees, a two-week work-from-home period has been implemented.

Starting Monday (June 20), the government has instituted a two-week working from the home period for public sector employees to limit their reporting to work.

The decision was made after considering the problems that have arisen in transportation services as a result of fuel shortages caused by the country's ongoing economic crisis.

The Ministry of Public Administration, Home Affairs, Provincial Councils, and Local Government issued the circular.

According to the ministry, this work-from-home initiative does not apply to essential services.
