The power outage schedule for the next four days has been released.

The Public Utilities Commission of Sri Lanka (PUCSL) has approved the Ceylon Electricity Board's request for six-hour and thirty-minute power outages over the next four days (April 05 - 08).

The CEB had requested power cuts for these dates due to a lack of fuel for thermal power plants, according to the PUCSL.

As a result, the following power outages have been scheduled:

Areas ABCDEFGHIJKL - 4 hours from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and 2 hours and 30 minutes from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m.

PQRSTUVW - 4 hours from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and 2 hours and 30 minutes from 6 p.m. to 11 p.m.

Area CC1 - 3 hours and 30 minutes between 6 a.m. and 9.30 a.m.
