The Ceylon Petroleum Corporation (CPC) has warned the public not to panic as a diesel shortage is expected to hit the market tomorrow and the following day.
According to the Chairman of CEYPETCO, a ship carrying 37,500 metric tonnes of diesel was unable to unload today as planned.
As a result, CEYPETCO has requested that the public refrains from queuing at diesel filling stations on March 30 and 31.
Diesel, on the other hand, will be supplied with essential services.
