Coronavirus: Sri Lanka sees 17 additional passings and 499 new cases




The Director-General of Health Services has affirmed 17 more Covid related passings for December 30, expanding the loss of life in the country because of the infection pandemic to 14,979.


As indicated by the figures delivered by the Government Information Department, the passings detailed today to incorporate 11 guys and 06 females.


Four of the patients are between the ages of 30-59 years. The excess 13 are in the age gathering of 60 years.


In the meantime, the everyday count of COVID-19 cases affirmed in Sri Lanka moved to 499 today (December 31).


This brings the absolute number of affirmed instances of Covid detailed in the country to 587,245.


Upwards of 560,494 recuperations have been affirmed in Sri Lanka since the flare-up of the COVID-19 pandemic.


More than 11,700 dynamic cases altogether are presently under clinical consideration, official figures showed.
