The death toll from COVID-19 in Sri Lanka has surpassed 14,000 people.


On Monday, the death toll from the COVID-19 pandemic in Sri Lanka surpassed 14,000 people.

The official death toll has risen to 14,014 after the Director General of Health Services confirmed 21 more coronavirus-related deaths on November 14.

The confirmed deaths today include 15 males and 06 females, with four of the victims aged 30-59. The others are over the age of 60.

Meanwhile, the Health Ministry reports that 512 more people have tested positive for the novel coronavirus today.

The total number of Covid-19 cases registered in the country now stands at 552,054.
