According to the Epidemiology Unit, the daily tally of confirmed COVID-positive cases in Sri Lanka increased to 548 today (October 19).
The total number of confirmed coronavirus cases recorded in the country now stands at 532,766.
Since the pandemic's onset, there have been 493,314 confirmed recoveries and 13,525 confirmed deaths in Sri Lanka.
According to official estimates, there are presently over 25,900 active cases in medical treatment.
