U.S. gives life-saving clinical gear to Sri Lanka

The United States on Tuesday (Sep. 07) gave a transfer of life-saving clinical gear to Sri Lanka to assist with battling the COVID-19 pandemic. 

The gift included compact oxygen concentrators and oxygen chambers, as indicated by the U.S. Consulate in Colombo. 

The new clinical gear shipment is notwithstanding the enormous volume of Moderna and Pfizer-BioNTech immunizations, which amounts to more than 1.6 million, the United States has given to the island country last month. 

In a tweet, Minister of Health Keheliya Rambukwella offered his ardent thanks to the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) and individuals of the U.S. for giving COVID-19 crisis alleviation bundles to Sri Lanka. 

"The help and strength of accomplices like this is the thing that will be answerable for our country's victory over this affliction."
