Russia is planning to boost the number of regular flights to Sri Lanka.

Russia will boost the number of regular flights to Sri Lanka beginning November 4, according to the anti-coronavirus crisis center, which was announced to reporters on Wednesday.


According to the Russian News Agency, it has been decided to expand the number of regular flights to Sri Lanka between Moscow and Colombo beginning November 4 (up to two flights each week).


In addition, Russia will boost flights to Kyrgyzstan, the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Japan, Uzbekistan and Tajikistan, Bahrein from October 5 and Sri Lanka beginning November 4, according to the anti-coronavirus crisis center.


The number of regular flights on the following routes will be increased: Kyrgyzstan between Moscow and Osh (4 flights per week), St. Petersburg to Bishkek (1 flight per week), St. Petersburg to Osh, Novosibirsk to Osh (1 flight per week on each route), Krasnoyarsk to Osh, Yekaterinburg to Osh, Irkutsk to Osh (1 flight per week on each route), United Arab Emirates between Moscow and Sharjah (3 flights per week) (up to 2 flights per week), from Russian airports, from which international flights have resumed to destinations in the UAE (from 1 to 2 flights per week), Uzbekistan between Moscow and Bukhara (2 flights per week), between Moscow and Urgench (1 flight per week), between Moscow and Samarkand (2 flights per week), between Moscow and Namangan (1 flight per week), between Moscow and Fergana (1 flight per week) (1 flight per week), According to data provided by the crisis center, regular flights from Russian airports, from which international flights have been reopened to the aforementioned Republic of Uzbekistan destinations (1 flight per week on each route), as well as between Moscow and Tashkent (up to 4 flights per week), have resumed.


The number of flights from Russian airports to Japan between Khabarovsk and Tokyo (7 flights per week), Bahrein between Moscow and Manama (up to 3 flights per week), India between Moscow and Delhi (up to 4 flights per week), Tajikistan between Moscow and Khujand, Moscow and Kulyab (up to 2 flights per week), will increase (up to 2 flights per week on each of the routes).
