On Monday, Sri Lanka recorded 66 COVID-19 deaths.


The total number of patients infected with COVID-19 in Sri Lanka increased by 66 on Monday, according to the Director-General of Health Services (September 21).


With this new finding, the official death toll from the Ebola outbreak in Sri Lanka now stands at 12,284.


The latest victims include 30 boys and 36 girls, according to data supplied by the Department of Government Information.


There have been 53 documented fatalities among older adults above the age of 60.


In addition, 11 people between the ages of 30 and 59, as well as two people under the age of 30, have died as a result of the viral infection.
