More doses of the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine, manufactured in the United States, have arrived at Sri Lanka's Bandaranaike International Airport (BIA).

The Qatar Airways flight carrying the immunizations landed at BIA approximately 2.10 a.m. today morning (September 20), according to an Ada Derana reporter.

This method has resulted in the arrival of 73,000 doses of the vaccine in the country.

The vaccinations were delivered to the Central Warehousing Complex in Colombo by refrigerated vehicles of the Sri Lanka Pharmaceutical Corporation.
