First traveler flight leaves Afghanistan since US withdrawal

Qatar Airways flies travelers on first business global plane to leave from Kabul air terminal since US withdrawal.

The main global business plane has left from Kabul air terminal since Western nations completed clearings from Afghanistan 10 days prior, with a top Qatari authority saying the air terminal is "completely going".

The air terminal is "around 90% prepared for tasks yet its returning is arranged bit by bit, Mutlaq al-Qahtani, Qatar's extraordinary agent to Afghanistan, said on Thursday talking from the landing area.

"This is a noteworthy day throughout the entire existence of Afghanistan as Kabul air terminal is completely functional. We have been looked by immense difficulties … yet we would now be able to say that the air terminal is good for route," he said.

The Qatar Airways plane had shown up in Kabul before on Thursday conveying help. It left for Doha, Qatar with travelers, remembering a huge gathering of outsiders for board.
